Never been satisfied?

    Have you ever ask yourself why are you living in this world and what's the purpose of your existence? No matter what kind of person you are or what profession you are in, you may be wondering right now if you have been satisfied with what the world can offer you. 

    We have been unconscious with this world. All of us have become sleep walkers of this world trying to seek something that is really worth having. Although this world can offer us the best, we try to explore and search for something new. Something we can say that can fully satisfy us. We can say that the world can offer us the best education  but some who are not satisfied may even go beyond its measure. After having their Bachelor's degree, some would continue for Masters and Doctoral degree. At the end of the day, still they are not satisfied.

   One thing we thought that can give us satisfaction is money. Though it can satisfy our needs, it cannot give the full satisfaction that we need. We desire to have more money, spending it for our self pleasures. Though we have money in our hands, we still go on and struggle to have more than what we need. We may have a million but the truth is, we may feel empty-handed.

   Often times we feel that something in the back of our mind is whispering. Urging to keep ourselves full. We sense that our hearts are bitter and our souls are empty. We wish to be pleased and be satisfied that is why many of us is plundering what the world can offer them. They are trying to dig it deeply to have the satisfaction they need. Still they cannot find it, thinking that it is no where to be found.

   People who have not found the real satisfaction often times commit suicide. It is because they are empty. we may have everything but we have this sense deep within us that there is something lacking. We may get depressed if this is not solved and the worse is to commit suicide. What we are actually doing right now wether great or small is vanity some call it "dung". Although we are living in this world, we should realize that we are not for this world.

   The best that can satisfy us is God. It is not a matter of us trying to be good but rather it is altogether a matter of our hearts. If we want to be fully satisfied, we need to turn our hearts to Him. He is rich and He can supply all you needs.
